Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
ReelFit operates as a managed UGC marketplace between brands and fitness creators. All campaigns are subject to manual escrow: brand payments are held by ReelFit and released to creators only after brand approval of delivered content. This policy sets out the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are processed.
2. Platform Fee
ReelFit charges a 15% platform fee on the total campaign budget. This fee is non-refundable once a campaign has been marked as completed and the creator payout has been processed.
3. Cancellation Before Payment
A campaign may be abandoned by the brand before payment is made (while in pending_payment status). No charge is incurred — simply do not complete the payment. Unpaid campaigns expire automatically after 30 days.
4. Cancellation After Payment
Once a brand has paid for a campaign, the following cancellation terms apply:
- Before content submission: The brand may request cancellation. ReelFit will review the request and, if approved, issue a full refund of the campaign budget minus the 15% platform fee (i.e. 85% refunded).
- After content submission: Cancellations are not permitted once the creator has submitted content for review. The brand must either approve the content or request a revision (up to 3 revisions are allowed).
- Disputed cancellations: If a brand and creator cannot reach agreement, either party may escalate to a ReelFit dispute. ReelFit will mediate and issue a binding decision, which may include a full refund, partial refund, or no refund depending on the evidence provided.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method used at checkout (Razorpay). ReelFit will send a confirmation email to the brand once the refund has been initiated.
Partial refunds (e.g. after partial completion of deliverables) will be calculated on a pro-rata basis at ReelFit's discretion, taking into account the scope of work completed by the creator.
6. Creator Payouts
Creator payouts are processed manually by ReelFit after a brand approves content and the campaign is marked as completed. Creators receive 85%of the campaign budget. Payouts are transferred to the creator's registered bank account within 5–7 business days of a payout request being approved. Creator payouts are not refundable once disbursed.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
- Content approved by the brand and campaign marked as completed.
- Creator payout already disbursed.
- Cancellation requests made after content submission without valid grounds.
- The 15% platform fee in all cases where a campaign reached the paid stage.
8. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a cancellation or refund request, use the Cancel button on your brand dashboard for the relevant campaign, or email us at hello@reelfit.in with your campaign ID and reason. Our team will respond within 2 business days.
