ReelFit ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Data We Collect

Account & Profile Data

• Name, email address, phone number
• Instagram handle, follower count, niche, city
• Profile photos, portfolio content, bio
• Bank/UPI details (creators only, for payouts)

Transaction Data

• Campaign details, budgets, payment status
• Razorpay payment link IDs and transaction references

Usage Data

• IP address, browser type, pages visited (via Sentry)
• In-app messages and call logs

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and improve the ReelFit marketplace
• To process payments and manage campaign escrow
• To send transactional notifications (email, WhatsApp)
• To verify creator and brand identities
• To resolve disputes and enforce our Terms of Service
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party processors to operate the Platform:

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required by law. Campaign and payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens via Supabase Auth). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Correction — update inaccurate data via your profile settings
• Deletion — request account and data deletion
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Grievance — lodge a complaint with our grievance officer

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), Row Level Security on our database, and hashed authentication tokens. However, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password and enable 2FA where available.

9. Children's Privacy

ReelFit is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
